but you’re welcome to call me Hada.

The nickname never really resonated with me until I moved from Berlin to Spain and discovered it translates to “Fairy” in Spanish. 🧚🏼‍♀️

Hey!

I’m Hadassa

Black and white drawing of a human eye with detailed eyelashes and reflection in the iris.

I’ve been an artist ever since I was a child, starting with painting countless eyes that gradually evolved into faces. Faces filled with sadness, joy, and anger... My art captures a vast range of emotions - from death to love, passion to fear, sorrow to hope – but one thing remains constant: its authenticity.

A grayscale painting of a woman with long wavy hair, her face partially obscured by numerous butterflies.

In my art, you’ll discover a blend of melancholy and bliss, each brushstroke telling a story, each piece a fragment of the intricate mosaic of life, formed by all its facets. Join me in a world where emotions breathe life into every line and color.

The loss of a loved one, however, ignited my true flame. In the darkness, I found the drive to create light - turning something sorrowful into something beautiful. This motivation continues to fuel me, and I want to pass it on.
